As predicted (thankfully) OS X Lion and the new MacBook Air was released at 12.30am NZ time. All 3.5GB of OS X Lion is downloading now. During lunch tomorrow I’ll start reading John Siracusa’s infamous, anticipated, and lengthy Lion review for Ars Technica and finish it while I install Lion in the evening. Meanwhile, I ordered the 13” 1.7GHz Core i5 MacBook Air mere minutes after it appeared in the store. It’s listed as ‘shipping within 24 hours’ which hopefully means it arrives on Friday. Quite a happy chappy :)
